About
Richard Gillespie is a Canadian musician, Deep House producer, and iOS app developer. His relationship with music stretches back to the 1990s, spanning genres from reggae to jazz before finding a home in electronic music.
After dedicating years to jazz piano studies in the early 2000s, Richard shifted his focus toward synthesis and electronic production — a journey that eventually led him to Deep House.
Today he crafts warm, analog-influenced tracks using a combination of hardware synthesizers including the Moog Grandmother, Behringer Poly D, and a Roland 88-key — instruments that give his productions a distinctly human, tactile quality.
When he's not in the studio, Richard builds iOS apps under his own name, including AmbientMeditation, an ambient sound app built for focus and rest.
He is based in Canada and releases music worldwide via all major platforms.
