Ambient Meditation — Privacy Policy.

Ambient Meditation is an audio companion for iPhone, iPad, and compatible Apple-silicon Mac, published by Gillespie Audio (Richard Gillespie). We respect your privacy and your device. The short version: the app is fully offline, collects no personal data, and does not send your app activity off your device.

Data we collect

None. Ambient Meditation makes no network requests of its own. It has no accounts, sign-in, cloud sync, analytics, advertising SDK, tracking framework, or third-party telemetry. Gillespie Audio cannot see what you play, favourite, archive, or configure in the app.

Data stored on your device

Ambient Meditation uses Apple's standard on-device storage to remember:

• ▸The sounds you have marked as Favourites.
• ▸Sounds you have archived or hidden from view.
• ▸Your playback preferences (sleep timer, default volume, tone control).
• ▸Your current playback selection, so the mini-player can reopen where you left off.

This data lives only on your device. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.

Price and purchases

Ambient Meditation 2.1 is completely free. All 36 sounds are included, and the app contains no subscriptions, in-app purchases, paid unlocks, or advertising. It does not request or receive payment details, purchase history, or subscription status.

Apple distributes the app through the App Store. Information Apple processes when you use the App Store is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and is not provided to Gillespie Audio by Ambient Meditation.

Device permissions

Ambient Meditation only uses standard iOS audio playback. It does not request access to your microphone, camera, photos, location, contacts, calendar, reminders, health data, or motion sensors.

Third parties

Ambient Meditation contains no third-party analytics, advertising, telemetry, or subscription SDKs. We do not share app data with third parties because the app does not collect any. Apple's role as the App Store distributor is separate from the app itself.

Children

Ambient Meditation does not collect any data, so it collects no data from children either. The app is suitable for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date.
