TEMPO-1 Support

Check the device or host output first, then confirm TEMPO-1's master level, channel levels, mute, and solo states. Tap a pad directly to confirm the selected voice is sounding before troubleshooting the sequencer.

In standalone TEMPO-1, select a voice, open SOUND, check the AUDIO panel, then tap RECORD. Record up to 30 seconds, stop, trim the take, adjust gain, preview, name it, and save it to one of that voice's 10 user-bank slots. Stop loop Capture before starting a sample recording. Open A/MIDI and choose AUDIO to check microphone permission, the active input and output, the input level, and channel selection. When a class-compliant USB interface exposes multiple inputs, select the required channel before recording; All Channels creates a mono mix of the available inputs. If the interface disappears, reconnect it and reopen AUDIO to confirm the route.

Add TEMPO-1 as an AUv3 extension inside a supported iOS, iPadOS, or macOS host. Host MIDI and transport sync are supported, but each host exposes plug-ins, routing, and recording in its own way. Audio-input sample recording is available only in the standalone app. To move a recorded sample into AUv3, save it in a preset, Export Bank in standalone, then Import Bank in the AUv3 instance.

In A/MIDI, open OUTPUT, turn output on, choose a hardware, software, or available Network MIDI destination, then select INTERNAL, MIDI, or BOTH. MAP can enable each track and set its channel and note. CLOCK sends 24-PPQN clock while TEMPO-1 plays, and TRANSPORT sends Start and Stop. If nothing arrives, check the selected destination, MAP rows, mute and solo states, and the receiving app or instrument.

Use MIDI learn to map hardware controls to pads, transport, BPM, mixer, FX, routing, and continuous controls. If a mapping does not respond, include the controller model and the type of message you are sending when you contact support.

TEMPO-1 supports user sample import for every voice. Use WAV files up to 30 seconds. If a file fails to load, try a shorter WAV and send the file format details with your support note.

TEMPO-1 can export the current loop as WAV, export the current pattern as MIDI, and capture live performance audio as WAV for sharing. If an export is empty, check that the current pattern contains active steps and that voices are not muted.

User preset banks can be imported and exported with embedded user samples and MIDI mappings. Keep a backup copy of important banks before deleting or reinstalling the app.
