Song Projects and Export
Manage autosaved arrangements, back them up as Song packages, or render a stereo mix and stems.
USER SONGS and autosave
Open the Songs library from SONG. The library states SONGS AUTOSAVE / PATTERNS STAY GLOBAL: arrangements save as you edit, while the shared BANK remains available across documents.
| Action | Use |
|---|---|
| NEW | Name and create a Song. |
| OPEN | Open the selected library Song. Selecting its row alone does not open it. |
| RENAME | Rename the selected Song. |
| DELETE | Remove the Song arrangement after confirmation; global Patterns are not deleted. |
| IMPORT SONG | Bring a saved Song package into the library. |
| EXPORT SONG | Create a portable Song backup/transfer package. |
| EXPORT WAV | Render the active Song as stereo audio or mix plus stems. Open a selected library Song before exporting its WAV. |
Back up an editable Song
- 01
Finish the take
Stop recording and wait for any recording/preparation operation to finish.
- 02
Select the document
Open USER SONGS and select the Song you want.
- 03
EXPORT SONG
Save the package in Files/Finder to a location you can find again.
- 04
Verify the destination
Check the export completion result and keep the package with your project backups. Use IMPORT SONG to bring a package back.
Render Song audio
- 01
Open the Song
In the library, OPEN the intended Song, then choose EXPORT WAV.
- 02
Choose RANGE
Select ENTIRE SONG, LOOP, or SELECTED RANGE when a selection is available. Review the displayed bars and duration.
- 03
Choose format
Select 16-bit or 24-bit WAV, then STEREO MIX or MIX + STEMS.
- 04
Choose the ending
Enable INCLUDE EFFECT TAIL to let reverb and delay fade after the chosen range.
- 05
Export
Choose the destination and wait for the saved/export result. Keep the mix and all stem files when importing into another production app.
Understand range and MIDI limits
- SELECTED RANGE is a time span from the first selected item's start to the last selected item's end. It renders the full mix in that span, including other tracks; it does not isolate only the selected clips.
- LOOP requires a valid Song loop range. ENTIRE SONG uses the whole arrangement.
- Offline export never sends MIDI to external hardware. A MIDI-only track has no audio to render: record the external instrument's return onto an Audio track first.
- Track stems include track processing before the master chain; the stereo mix includes master processing. Exported files share the same duration so they line up when placed at the same start in another app.
- A Pattern MIDI export, Pattern audio loop, native Pattern file, and Song mix serve different handoffs. Choose the native Song package for editable project transfer.
