Troubleshooting
Resolve sampling, input, sequencing, MIDI, Filter Pad, export, and AUv3 pattern-recording issues.
Common issues
| Issue | Try this |
|---|---|
| Sample recording is unavailable | Use the standalone app where possible, enable microphone access, and stop loop capture before recording a sample |
| No input level appears | Open AUDIO, confirm permission and the active input, choose a channel if available, and check the connected interface or mic |
| A sample will not save | Trim must leave audible audio and the result must be 30 seconds or shorter. A different occupied destination requires confirmation |
| A step does not play every loop | Check CND. Values above 1L play on the first pass after reset, then skip loop cycles |
| Live recording feels loose | Check QNT; OFF preserves micro-timing, while 1/16, 1/32, or 1/64 tighten placement |
| MIDI output is silent | Check OUTPUT ON, destination, output mode, MAP-enabled tracks, mute or solo, and host MIDI routing |
| A USB or Network MIDI destination is missing | Connect or activate the destination, reopen OUTPUT, and select it again; inactive Network MIDI endpoints are hidden |
| Filter Pad moves but no sweep is heard | Turn on Filter and route the selected voice or MSTR to it |
| MIDI export does not match playback | MIDI export omits OUTPUT/MAP, mute/solo, pitch, PROB, CND, and FX. Use Capture for the performed audio result |
| Repeated live taps became a ratchet | QNT 1/32 can capture x2; QNT 1/64 can capture x2, x3, or x4 |
| AUv3 pattern recording does not write steps | The host transport must be moving |
