MIDI Details
Configure live MIDI output, manual track mappings, channels, notes, clock, transport, and the voice input note map.
Live MIDI output
- Choose OUTPUT ON, then pick a destination where available.
- An active Apple Network MIDI session can appear as a destination. Configure and connect the session in Apple's MIDI tools, then select it in OUTPUT.
- Set a global channel or override channel and note per voice in MAP.
- CLOCK sends 24-PPQN MIDI Clock while TEMPO-1 is playing. TRANSPORT sends MIDI Start and Stop.
- Mute and solo states affect live MIDI output, matching what you hear from the groove.
- Pitch offsets can transpose live output notes. Exported MIDI remains standard note data and does not write pitch bend.
- Use Capture for an exact performed pass. Loop WAV creates a new, peak-normalized render.
Manual output mapping
- MAP provides one row for each TEMPO-1 voice. Tap the track name to enable or disable MIDI output for that voice.
- CH shows G when a voice uses the global output channel. Use the channel controls to assign a per-voice override, or return it to G to follow the global channel.
- NOTE sets the outgoing MIDI note for each voice from 0 through 127.
- Configure output channels and notes manually to match the external instrument.
Voice input note map
With CHROMATIC INPUT off and no custom Learn mapping assigned, incoming notes use this map. Learn mappings take priority. With CHROMATIC INPUT on, notes pitch the selected voice relative to ROOT.
