Pitch, Ratchets, and Record Quantize
Create pitched steps, repeated hits, and quantized or loose live recordings.
Per-step pitch
- Pitch is stored with each step and included in presets and page copy/paste.
- It applies to imported or sample sounds, melodic voices, and supported modeled Kick and Tom paths.
- Step pitch adds to the voice or sample pitch at playback. The combined value is limited to -24 through +24 semitones.
Ratchets
- Ratchet values are x1, x2, x3, x4, x6, or x8.
- With REC armed and playback running, QNT 1/32 can capture x2 and QNT 1/64 can capture x2, x3, or x4. Set x6 or x8 manually.
