| Melodic synth pattern | Set PITCH values on SYN, BAS, KEY, or a sample voice, then move main PITCH; combined pitch is limited to +/-24 semitones |
| Long-form fill | Set a Snare or Perc step to CND 4L or 8L; it plays on the first pass after reset, then every 4 or 8 cycles |
| Filter performance | Route a voice to Filter, arm REC, start playback, then record cutoff and resonance sweeps |
| External drum machine | Use MIDI OUTPUT and MAP to drive an external drum machine while TEMPO-1 sequences the groove |
